Dreaming dreams and making them a reality via dedication, passion, cohesion and last but not least, hard work – These are values a whole generation grew up with, watching the legendary cartoon show „Ganbare, Kickers!“. Almost simultaneously with the airing of the show, Austrian football club Sturm Graz began its rise to glory, taking the boys in black and white to heights that no-one would ever have imagined could be possible. It’s those virtues that form a bond between the cartoon and the real football club, and that have lifted both the fictional and the real team from underdogs to champions. Their stories send an unapologetic message: Go your own way, don’t let anyone distract you, and don’t allow anyone to tell you aren’t going to make it. Dare to dream. Dream big.
